Austria and Boss Media Deal

Boss Media has been chosen by two companies, Austrian Lotteries and Casinos Austria, to financial back them for payouts. As well, the leading software developer, Boss Media, is to supply the network for their Win 2 Day.at joint online poker site which is brand new.

Win 2 Day.at is a new site whose sole purpose for being brought into this world is to benefit from the surplus in regional poker playing and wagering. The site will have a cap on how much a player can spend at the site per week. A hefty one thousand dollars per week is all that is available for players to spend and the reason behind that number is to make an effort to reduce the risk of becoming addicted to gambling online. The two stated that Win 2 Day.at would go live during the first quarter of the year using a Boss Media platform solution delivered in partnership with Sweden’s Svenska Spel.se. This is supposed to provide the customer a feeling that they are in safe hands and out of harm’s way. Win 2 Day.at will be covered in customer support, fraud, responsible gambling and conspiracy.
“We are proud that this is the second government controlled poker network to operate on a Boss Media solution”, said Michael Hallen who is the Chief Executive Officer for Boss Media.

Boss Media is strongly banking on more government controlled internet poker rooms in the next two years. They are pushing to be the go to company for these government controlled websites by maintaining a firm position in this segment until the very end of next year, 2009. Boss Media has had a responsible approach which they have had since they launched in 2006. Gaining control of a substantial part of the Austrian online poker market is their goal.

“Poker is still booming in Austria, and we had a three hundred percent increase in poker playing guests from our offline poker games in 2007”, said Karl Stoss who is the General Director for Casinos Austria.
