| Vegas Casinos Online: News | |||||||||
| Most Americans do not get their news from their local news programs. Most Americans tune in to Comedy Central and watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report for their everyday news. Last night a guest discussed online poker on The Colbert Report. The guest was Harvard Law professor Charles Nesson and his ultimate mission was to gain momentum in using online poker as a teaching tool in the classroom. If you have never seen the popular Comedy Central show, Stephen Colbert is a news anchor discussing the headlines of today with a twist of humor. Sometimes the humor is quite absurd when it mocks the silly rules and laws of modern day society. Of course, Colbert mocked professor Nesson during the interview but Nesson’s message was still given time to flourish. Nesson believes that the strategy used to play poker is essential in the strategy used in the courtroom. It gives the students a chance to study the behavior of people who are trying to deceive you. When asked why it was not the same to play in a brick and mortar casino as online, Nesson answered by saying there was no true skill in a live casino because players are playing against the house where the odds are not in your favor. Online poker is more skillful because you are playing against people where the odds are leveled. |
