| Vegas Casinos Online: News | |||||||||
| Ultimate Bet.com is reaching out to people who do not speak English. The online poker room announced that they will have translated their site into fourteen other languages so that everyone can enjoy a game of skill based poker. The internet casino will now be easily accessible to people who speak Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, French Canadian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Czech, Japanese, Chinese and German. Most poker sites do not have much concern whether or not a player can read their website. The idea is that the language of poker is universal, but Ultimate Bet.com disagrees. Ultimate Bet.com feels that if a player can read all of the fine print they will feel more comfortable with the site and hopefully spend more time gambling on it. Plus, while players are feeling more comfortable they could be playing better and more confidently because of the reduced stress of everything feeling a little bit more like home. “We are thrilled to make our non-English speaking poker players feel more comfortable at our Texas Hold 'em tables and we are excited to make it easier for new players around the world to connect with our poker community.” Said George MacLean the spokesperson for Ultimate Bet.com. Getting to the site will be as simple as choosing the language you wish the site to be in. After you have chosen the language you can simply bookmark the translated page to always go straight back without having to choose the language every time. Everything from the online poker promotions, tutorials and information will be translated. MacLean commented that the idea for the translated sites came from the attendance at their 2007 poker tournament in Aruba. People all over the world came to watch and play and MacLean says he expects the same turn out at the Aruba Poker Classic later on this year. |
